Anouk Verbeek is a sculpture and objects conservator specializing in modern and contemporary art. She was born and raised in The Netherlands and holds a master’s degree (2014) and professional doctorate (2016) in contemporary art conservation from the University of Amsterdam. She first moved to the United States in 2016 and has been living and working in Baltimore ever since.
Anouk started her private practice in contemporary art conservation in 2018 and serves clients in the broader DMV area. She specializes in plastics, metals, and mixed media, and has familiarity with most other sculptural materials. She serves museums, private collectors, auction houses, business collections, artists, and galleries.
Anouk is a member of the American Institute for Conservation and adheres to their Code of Ethics at all times.
